Talia wheeled her 3 suitcases into the nicely designed dorm room, noticing that she was the first out of all of her roommates, so choosing a bottom bunk on the left side of the room by the window that was decorated with black and white printed curtains, set off nicely by the robin's egg blue walls. She shouldered a bag onto her bunk, and propped her suitcases up against the bunk, glancing around, before kicking the door closed gently as she unpacked her things into the room. Setting her phone and alarm clock on the nightstand. She could not help but wonder what her room mates would be like. She hadn't bothered to look at the names on the sheet they had given her simply because she had not really met anyone, so simply assumed she would know exactly as much as she did before she would have looked at it. She was not one for conflict and drama, so she could only hope that her roommates would feel the same.
She had been staying at a nearby hotel and had bought her horse here, and had already started her training for the fall season, learning to develop a bond with the beautiful grey thoroughbred mare, Gem. She was incredibly excited about being given the opportunity to own and work with the special horse, that was young, and eager to learn. Just the way she too often told herself that she liked. She'd worked with young horses before, and finally happy that this school had given her the opportunity to have her own horse for the first time in her life. And she could not be more grateful for the opportunity. She had plans to let the mare chill for a day after their first grueling workout, having tested the mare in many ways to see what where she really was at, and was planning on using the day to think over how she wanted to go about working with the mare. There were so many ways she could go about it, but she would simply have to wait and see and let the last session sit with her for a day. Now, only to wait for her hopeful friends of the human species.
